• Overheating issues Delivering such performance in such a tiny package comes with drawbacks and the Action 2 is prone to overheating when used at it's maximum capabilities. The camera has a auto stop feature that turns it off safely, but you should only expect to record very short clips at 4K120fps. If you need to record longer 4K120fps videos, you should consider the DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro.
• Not waterproof with modules Although waterproof down to 197ft / 60m with the dedicated diving case, you cannot use the Action 2 with modules and the case, which limits it's storage and run time. If you plan on snorkeling or scuba-diving a lot, you could consider the DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro or Insta360 Ace Pro 2.
